On Monday April 29, a sizable number of University of Utah students joined students on other college and university campuses in rallying “in support of Palestine,” setting up tents around the administration building. Campus police in riot gear ended the protest, removing students and tents, about eight hours after it started. Seventeen students were arrested after campus law enforcement notified them that their assembly was unlawful and told them to leave.
